Camerata's Mission StatementThe Camerata Singers of Monterey County provides high quality cultural and educational opportunities for a multi-generational audience through the production of choral music recognized for its imaginative programming and performance excellence. To succeed in our mission, Camerata Singers has developed many successful educational, outreach and community partnerships to connect us (and our mission) to our audicences:
Education True to our mission, Camerata is always reaching out to the community with our music. Our latest venture, one of which we are most proud, is our Camerata Futures project. Camerata Futures provides students with an opportunity to work with adults in a semi-professional atmosphere. Our main goal is to develop in its participants (and their friends and family who come to hear their performances) a lifetime joy and affinity for choral music.
