Join us on May 10th and 11th to celebrate music’s unique ability to refresh the spirit and delight the heart. Featuring our new accompanist George Peterson, repertoire includes Harlem Songs by contemporary composer Gwyneth Walker, featuring three poems by Langston Hughes; The Music of Living by contemporary composer Dan Forrest, an exuberant setting of a text teeming with the joy and optimism of life; The Seal Lullaby by contemporary composer Eric Whitacre with text by Rudyard Kipling; and Lord, make me an instrument of thy peace by Roger Q. Holland II, a spirited arrangement of the well-known prayer of St. Francis of Assisi.

It was a great pleasure to present a check for $7,500 to the Veterans Transition Center, representing proceeds from our March performance of Ralph Vaughan Williams Dona nobis pacem. Joining Artistic Director John Koza were VTC Founder (and former member of the Camerata Singers) Tom Griffin, VTC Executive Director Kurt Schake and VTC Board Member Mike Mitchell. If you were in the audience for our performances, thank you for your generosity. These funds will provide food for homeless veterans for the next three months.
